Help us rewild the Caledonian Forest

As we all know the planet is facing a climate emergency which vital habitats disappearing and species being lost forever. Bitmark is committed to doing its part to reverse this trend.

Bitmark has joined up with Scottish charity Trees For Life to plant its very own tree grove in the Caledonian Forest.

Starting with a dozen saplings, the Bitmark Grove will be added to every month as part of Bitmark's ongoing commitment to the environment.

The trees donated by Bitmark will help to rewild the Caledonian Forest, a unique, rich habitat found only in the highlands of Scotland. The saplings are grown from locally collected seeds and will include Scots pine, willow, birch, rowan, hazel, alder, holly, aspen and bird cherry.

Our trees will be planted at Dundreggan in beautiful Glenmoriston, part of Tree For Life's estate near Loch Ness.  The Dundreggan estate includes ancient Caledonian pinewoods, juniper and birch woodlands, wetlands, and wildflower meadows.

The aim is to transform the open hillsides into healthy woodland, that can support wildlife such as red squirrel, black grouse and capercaillie.  Once mature, the forests will naturally regenerate themselves for generations to come.

You can support the growth of the Bitmark Grove by purchasing a tree, either as a one-off donation or by donating on a monthly basis. It only costs £6 per tree.
